So, your title has been published? Now what do you do?
Well, this phase is very similar to those activities before your book or article is published.
It is important to continue buzz as your title reaches the marketplace. Keep soliciting reviews from colleagues and other trusted industry leaders. Once the title is in the hands of the general population, you can starting asking your readers for reviews. Readers can easily post reviews on sites like Amazon.com. Engage with your customer/ reader base.
If your schedule allows, plan for conference appearances and book signings. Keep track of these events and inform your editor so they can make any required arrangements. Use these events as a networking opportunity and hand out business cards.
