One of Twitter’s major strengths is its up-to-the-minute, live feed format.  With that power comes great responsibility.  Twitter users can be guilty of tweeting at a moments notice without any filter. Sometimes that can cause problems, like inaccuracies or omissions.

CNN posted an interesting article about this very subject. Heather Kelly focuses on examples where Twitter accounts were hacked and false information quickly found its way onto people’s feeds.
